This student-led conference will discuss the aspects of doing international business and economic growth in emerging markets. Speakers will share their experiences and perspectives on working in emerging markets, and will provide strategies and tips on best practices. Speakers include professionals from: USAID, the US International Economic Affairs Office with the White House National Security Council, the Inter-American Development Bank, a hedge fund CEO & Chief Investment Officer, and other private sector companies.

The day will consist of a morning session, focusing on how the private sector does business in emerging markets, and an afternoon session focusing on how international development organizations and governments support economic growth. Under Kafuti’s leadership, the ABA hosted several outstanding events including the African Business Conference, which was attended by distinguished leaders of African countries, area business leaders, university leadership, and hundreds of students. Thanks to Kafuti’s tireless efforts, the ABA got started in a big way and stands to do great things in the future.
