International Survey

As many of you are checking your email, you may have noticed that the International Student Barometer has been sent to you, please fill it out. This is a university wide survey being conducted in collaboration with i-graduate, and is the biggest international student feedback study. The 6th Annual Pitch George Elevator Competition is Now Open and Accepting Applications!

Open to undergraduate and graduate students at GW, Pitch George not only provides you with an opportunity to compete against other student entrepreneurs to win cash but also allows you to network and gain feedback on your business concept from entrepreneurs and business professionals. First place teams, both graduate and undergraduate, will win $2,000 each and will automatically advance to the semi-finals of the $101,000 GW Business Plan Competition in the spring.

Black Button Distilling Starting Kickstarter Campaign

I can tell you because I am typing this from his tasting room HQ in Rochester, NY, Jason has come a long way since the summer.

That’s right, The Whiskey Is Coming – Now through November 21st Black Button Distilling is running a Kickstarter Campaign. Winter Break Marketing Class – Application deadline TOMORROW

Professor Maddox will be teaching a brand new Consulting Practicum Course in Advertising and Marketing Communications over Winter Break. The 3 credit class is comprised of eight on-campus meetings in Foggy Bottom in December, after Mod 2 finals, and culminates with a weekend presentation to the client in Boston the first weekend of Mod 3. Students will work on a project for the U.S. Cranberry Association, designing a pitch to market cranberries year round to consumers. Here are the details:
