Analyst/Intern Position

The SoundBoard Angel Fund is once again looking for a part time analyst intern. This is a perfect opportunity for a current college Junior/Senior or Graduate student with strong communication and organizational skills looking for an internship to gain work experience during the semester. We are flexible and can work with the students class schedule. Intern will benefit from exposure to a multitude of entrepreneurs and business owners from many different industries and learn from highly trained, highly motivated professionals with diverse skills sets.

· Review and analyze business plans at the early stage of the due diligence process
· Support the Managing Director in guiding the investors through the formalized due diligence process
· Act as a liaison communicating between investors and Fund’s managing partners
· Prepare, participate and administrate screening committee meetings and other relevant conversations
· Attend and help facilitate investor group meetings
Eligibility & Requirements
· Familiar with business and financial concepts
· Intimate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
· Comfortable with online platforms and technologies
· Passionate about working with start-up companies in and out of technology/Internet
· Ideal for a Graduate business school student or an Undergraduate Junior/Senior who has experience
· Approximately 15 – 20 hours per week
· Stipend and expenses

This year’s GW Business Plan Competition Kickoff event is a Rapid Pitch Challenge where everyone in the audience will be encouraged to generate business ideas, form teams, and make a 3-minute pitch to a panel of judges.
