The Education Pioneers Graduate School Fellowship is a full-time, paid, 10-week program that places talented graduate students with school districts, charter school organizations, and other education organizations to tackle mission-critical consulting projects.

As a fellow, you will:

  • Work as a consultant under the guidance of an experienced manager;
  • Gain access to our robust network of alumni and partner organizations (such as KIPP, NewSchools Venture Fund, Aspire Public Schools, Teach For America, and many, many more), as well as career counseling and job placement assistance;
  • Become a part of a cohort of talented, diverse graduate students from varying backgrounds and programs, and with unique skill sets;
  • Attend and participate in workshops and professional development sessions with your cohort;
  • Receive $7,000 stipend for the 10-Week Summer Placement

During this information session, you will learn how to utilize your talent and skills to make an impact in the education sector. This presentation will cover information about our placement locations as well as unique opportunities for Business students, with ample time at the end for questions. Thursday, October 16, 2014 – Productive Development Financing and Marketplace Day at IDB
Hosted at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the program offers an IDB led panel on Latin America and a marketplace in the afternoon where researchers have the opportunity to discover new data sets related to firm creation, entrepreneurship, and public policy. The Panel Study of Entrepreneurial Dynamics (PSED), Global Entrepreneurship Development Institute (GEDI), the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. Census Bureau, the Kauffman Firm Survey and more will be represented. PSED 101 and GEDI 101 training sessions will also be offered.

Kevin founded Veenome in 2011 and has been its Chief Executive Officer since 2011. He is an experienced Mobile Product Manager and Business Development Expert with a keen sense of how location, platform and portability play into the mobile experience for businesses and consumers. He worked with clients at PointAbout including GM/OnStar, Microsoft, FEMA, The Huffington Post and various confidential military and aviation organizations.

Professor Lumpkin is a globally recognized scholar whose research has been published in the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Venturing, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Management, Family Business Review and Strategic Management Journal.

Ms. Heekyung Min
Executive Vice President and Executive Director of Global CSV for CJ Corporation (S. Korea).
Prior to joining CJ, Ms. Min held various executive positions in both government and private companies with extensive experience in HR, Finance and Intercultural Management. In 2007, Heekyung acted as the Director General of the Business Opportunity Bureau at the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) in Incheon, Korea, responsible for leading the team that supervised the development of the city while promoting Korea’s and IFEZ’s investment opportunities to the world.
