GW MBAA Co-sponsored Event: Panel discussion on “The Future of Food, Water, and Energy Security”

The GW MBA Association is proud to co-sponsor a panel discussion, “The Future of Food, Water, and Energy Security,” during National Public Health Week (April 6-11).

When: Thursday, April 9, starting at 12pm
Where: Convening Room (B100A) at the GW School of Public Health

The event features a panel discussion about the use of these resources in the greater context of global health issues. Professionals from both the public and private sectors will discuss how we can work across disciplines to find viable solutions to these challenges and how international business can partner with the public sector.

This event is offered in partnership with the GW PHSA and the Elliott Graduate Student Forum

Joint Event: Networking Bingo Night on April 8th!

Have fun, network and win at the Networking Bingo Night hosted by Elliott Graduate Student Forum​, GW Law Student Bar Association​ and GW MBA Association​!

When: Wednesday, April 08, 7:30pm-9:30pmBINGO FLYER
Where: Marvin Center Room 302

It’s going to be a great event to mingle and meet grad students and members from the other two schools andtheir student organizations. And of course, all the bingo fun and prizes too!!

First, there will be a networking bingo among participants so they can meet others from different schools. After that, we will play four rounds of Bingo of different patterns with a final black-out round where you have to cover the full board of numbers. Prizes will be gift cards to local businesses in the amounts of $10, $15, and $25!

So come and join all the fun on April 8th!

Club Fair and Mixer on Feb 17th!

We’ll be having a Club Fair on February 17th (Tuesday) between 5pm-7pm at the Graduate Lounge where the board members from the following clubs will answer your questions, give you an opportunity to hear about their upcoming plans and become members:

Want to learn more about the short-term programs traveling over winter and spring breaks? Global & Experiential Education is hosting an information session next Thursday, September 25th from 6:00 – 7:00pm in Duques Hall, room 652. Faculty Directors will present on their short-term opportunities and be available for questions. The deadline to apply to winter short-term programs is Wednesday, October 1st. Join the George Washington University Black MBA Club for their 2nd annual free NBMBAA Career Expo Preparation Workshop. Three sessions will be conducted by industry professionals:

1) Straight Talk: A Recruiter’s Perspective
2) Polish Your Image: Business Style & Etiquette
3) Winning Strategy: Expo Advice and Navigation Tools

All students are welcome. This workshop will not only help prepare NBMBAA participants but also students who are preparing to attend other career fairs this fall.
